Hyland records limited website conversion events so we can understand whether customers are able to contact us and whether the request system is working. Current events include successful service-request submissions, form errors, call-link clicks, and text-link clicks.
Conversion events may include service category, service-city or service-area bucket, customer type, urgency, source page, attachment count, technical outcome, first-touch landing page/service/city, referring website hostname, and UTM source, medium, and campaign. The conversion-event system is designed not to record customer names, street addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, job descriptions, reference numbers, attachment contents, UTM content, or UTM term.
If a city value is not on Hyland’s published service-city list, the conversion system reduces it to a general “Other / review” category rather than intentionally storing the submitted city text in the conversion event.
