Website Terms

These terms govern use of hylandservices.com.

The website helps customers learn about Hyland Services, contact us, and submit service information. Website content and a submitted request do not, by themselves, create a service contract or guarantee availability.

1. Website purpose

Information and service-request intake.

General information

Website descriptions are intended to explain the types of plumbing, water-heater, heating, cooling, drain, sewer, and related services Hyland may provide. They are not a substitute for inspecting the actual property, equipment, piping, venting, drain, or other condition.

Service availability

Published service areas describe normal or intended coverage. Availability may vary by location, service type, workload, access, weather, parts, permitting, technician availability, and other conditions.

No automatic appointment

Submitting a website request confirms that Hyland received information for review. It does not guarantee an appointment time, same-day response, emergency response, coverage decision, authorization, estimate, or acceptance of the work.

2. Estimates, scopes, and agreements

The actual service agreement controls the job.

Any estimate, proposal, authorization, invoice, work order, warranty communication, written scope, or other job-specific agreement may contain additional or different terms. If there is a conflict between general website content and a signed or accepted job-specific document, the job-specific document controls to the extent of that conflict.

Prices, scope, material availability, code requirements, permit requirements, access requirements, concealed conditions, and repair feasibility can change after inspection or after previously concealed conditions become known.

Website examples, educational explanations, and typical repair descriptions are not fixed-price offers unless Hyland expressly identifies them as such in a job-specific proposal.

3. Home warranty and third-party programs

Coverage decisions belong to the applicable third party.

If you contact Hyland in connection with a home-warranty company, property manager, landlord, insurer, manufacturer warranty, utility, financing provider, or other third party, that organization may have separate contracts, coverage rules, authorizations, exclusions, payment obligations, and procedures.

Hyland may document findings and communicate requested information, but Hyland does not control a third party’s coverage, reimbursement, authorization, claim, financing, or policy decision.

4. Emergency and safety information

The website is not an emergency-response system.

Life-safety emergencies

For fire, suspected gas emergencies, carbon-monoxide emergencies, dangerous electrical conditions, serious flooding with immediate danger, medical emergencies, or another immediate threat to life or property, contact 911 and/or the appropriate utility or emergency authority first.

Urgent service requests

Calling or texting Hyland is generally the fastest contact method for a time-sensitive service issue. A website submission should not be relied upon as a guaranteed real-time emergency notification channel.

Do not create additional hazards

Website content should not be interpreted as instructions to open energized equipment, defeat safety controls, enter unsafe spaces, work around gas leaks, excavate utilities, or perform regulated work without proper qualifications.

5. Acceptable use

Use the site for legitimate service and information purposes.

You may not use the website or its forms to submit unlawful content; impersonate another person; interfere with the website; attempt unauthorized access; distribute malware; abuse automated endpoints; submit knowingly false dispatch or billing information; harass or threaten people; or use the system in a way intended to damage Hyland, its customers, service providers, or infrastructure.

Hyland may block, preserve, investigate, or report activity reasonably believed to involve a credible threat, fraud, abuse, attempted compromise, unlawful conduct, or safety risk. Relevant records may be preserved when reasonably necessary for safety, legal, insurance, security, or law-enforcement purposes.

6. Website content

We aim for accuracy, but field conditions control.

Hyland works to keep website information useful and current, including service descriptions, local permit or code context, service areas, licensing information, and contact information. Codes, municipal procedures, manufacturer requirements, utility requirements, product specifications, and field conditions can change.

Before relying on website information for a specific project, the applicable authority, current code, manufacturer documentation, job conditions, and written project scope should be verified when relevant.

7. Intellectual property and third-party links

Site content and outside resources.

Hyland content

Unless otherwise indicated, Hyland’s website copy, original graphics, layout, branding, photographs, service descriptions, and other original site content are owned by or licensed to Hyland Services, LLC and may not be republished or commercially exploited without permission.

Third-party resources

The site may link to government agencies, Google, BBB, manufacturers, utilities, municipalities, or other third parties. Those sites are controlled by their respective operators and may have their own terms, privacy practices, and content.

No endorsement by link alone

A link is provided for convenience, verification, or reference and does not necessarily mean Hyland endorses every statement, product, service, or practice on the linked site.

8. Disclaimers and limitation

Website use carries ordinary Internet limitations.

The website is provided on an “as available” basis. Hyland does not promise that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at a particular time, and does not guarantee that online submissions or messages will be delivered instantly.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hyland is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of, inability to use, or reliance on general website content. Nothing in these terms is intended to waive a right or liability that cannot lawfully be waived, or to replace the terms governing actual contracted service work.

9. Privacy

Website data is handled under the Privacy Policy.

The Hyland Services Privacy Policy explains service-request information, attachments, limited conversion tracking, technical/security metadata, retention practices, and privacy requests.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card numbers, passwords, government identification numbers, medical records, or other sensitive information that is not necessary for a service request.

10. Colorado law and updates

These terms are intended for a Colorado service business.

These Website Terms are governed by applicable Colorado and federal law, without creating a choice-of-law result that would override mandatory consumer protections that otherwise apply.

Hyland may update these terms when the website, business practices, laws, or services change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current published version.

Questions may be sent to support@hylandservices.com or by calling (720) 709-2000.
