Windsor code + water-service context
The Town of Windsor states that the 2024 I-Codes took effect January 1, 2026. Windsor does not require a general Town contractor license, but plumbing contractors must hold a current State of Colorado plumbing license and provide the applicable company and master license information for permit setup.
Windsor also identifies three separate water providers serving the town and publishes water-pressure zones. For high- or low-pressure complaints, the property location, actual measured pressure, PRV condition, and water-service context all matter before deciding what needs to be replaced.
For an apparent municipal water line leak or break after hours, the Town publishes 970-674-5415.
